Relief efforts under way in Arkansas after deadly storms and tornadoes – video

Volunteers have increased efforts to support people in Arkansas after tornadoes tore through parts of the southern and midwestern US in recent days, leaving a trail of destruction. In Little Rock, the Arkansas capital, volunteers cooked and packaged meals to be distributed by the Salvation Army, Goodwill and other aid groups. A monster storm system struck at least eight states over the weekend, prompting at least 50 preliminary reports of tornadoes.

The states affected include Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Delaware and Alabama
