Google Drive quietly introduced (then pulled) a file creation limit for all users

The company confirmed to The Verge that the change would have allowed you to can create a maximum of 5 million files in Drive even if you pay for extra storage. But Google rolled the change back soon after, saying it would explore alternate approaches to ensure a great experience for all."
