They sniffed their way across the field searching for the best treats at the National Service Dogs' Easter egg hunt Good Friday at Joe Sam's Leisure Park.
Plastic eggs, 4,500 of them, filled with dog treats and coupons were spread across a field for the expected 150 canine participants to find. Hidden among the eggs were a gold and silver one with special grand prizes.
The event was a fundraiser for the charity, with over $5,000 raised. Depending on the money raised by their owners, participants could collect eggs.
