On your mark, set, egg!

The Waterdown Lions Club's Easter egg hunt in Waterdown Memorial Park on Good Friday saw more than a thousand children racing to collect chocolate eggs and other prizes.

It was the second year for the Lions Club hosting the event after taking over from a community group. Local businesses donated 180 pounds of chocolate and the prizes for the participants up to 12 years old.
