Free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater received a strong contract offer from the Detroit Lions, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

However, Bridgewater has also drawn interest from several teams, Fowler adds. The former Pro Bowler is reportedly weighing his options and hasn't decided where he'll play next season.

Bridgewater will reunite with head coach Dan Campbell if he joins the Lions. The pair worked together in New Orleans in 2018-19 when Campbell served as the Saints' assistant head coach and tight ends coach.

Jared Goff and Nate Sudfeld are the only quarterbacks on Detroit's roster. The Lions could also address their depth at the position in the upcoming draft, as they hold two first-round picks.

Bridgewater spent the 2022 season backing up Tua Tagovailoa with the Miami Dolphins. The 30-year-old played in five games and started two contests, passing for 683 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions with a 62% completion rate.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Bridgewater in the first round in 2014. The Louisville product also had stints with the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.

Bridgewater has compiled a 33-32 record over his career, passing for 15,120 yards and 75 touchdowns while producing a 90.5 passer rating.
