Toronto police will announce the results of a cross-border firearms trafficking investigation at its headquarters at 40 College St. Tuesday morning.

The announcement is expected at 10 a.m. and will air live on the service's YouTube channel.

The investigation dubbed Project Moneypenny" involves police in the U.S. and Ontario.

Deputy police chief Robert Johnson will discuss the investigation, which resulted in arrests and gun seizures, alongside officials from the Canada Border Services Agency and attaches from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

This is a developing story.
