Good chassis for Savage Model 10?

Got a quick question for you all:

I bought a used Savage 10 FCP-K and I'd like to replace the Accustock with an upgraded chassis. I was looking at the MDT ORYX but wondered if anyone had a specific recommendation for a chassis system in about the $500 range?

Also, are the Savage 110 SA chassis compatible with the Model 10 series? It seems that they now only sell 110 LA and SA and I'm wondering if the fitment is the same as the older Model 10 series SA.

Edit: plan to shoot 100 - 600 yards about, looking for something more comfortable than the factory stock (adjustable butt pad and cheek riser desired). Chambered in .308 Winchester. Just shooting for fun (not competition).
