M&P 2.0 light striking

My M&P 9 2.0 is light striking. I installed an apex trigger about 6 months ago and it was shooting well until about last month. It started light striking and sometimes even not striking at all. I saw on a blog post that an Ed Brown extended striker block would fix the problem. I installed it and didn't fix the problem and now it sometimes shoots 2 rounds with one trigger pull. What could be wrong with it?
