I want to buy my son a pistol later this year. What's a good choice for him?

I just started getting in to guns not too long ago, so I don't have a whole lot of experience with different kinds or calibers. My son wants me to take him shooting and I think this might be an opportunity to bond with him and do something fun together. If it becomes a hobby of ours, I was thinking of buying him his own pistol later on. I'm just not sure what a good starter pistol would be for a 9-10 year old boy would be.

Any suggestions? I'd like something that's a good quality brand but also something that looks cool to a kid.
