Man, 74, dead following Hwy. 403 crash
A man has died following a multi-vehicle Highway 403 crash in Brant County earlier this week.
Ontario Provincial Police say Brant County first responders were called to a four-vehicle Hwy. 403 crash April 19 at 1:30 p.m.
On Wednesday OPP posted to Twitter about a collision investigation that closed westbound highway lanes between Paris Road and Rest Acres Road.
In an early Saturday morning media release, police said two passenger and two commercial vehicles were involved in the collision.
Four people were taken to hospital. One of those four victims, a 74-year-old Woodstock man, was later pronounced deceased by attending physicians," police said in the release.
The highway was closed for approximately seven hours," Wednesday.
OPP say charges in the crash are anticipated, but the investigation is ongoing.
Provincial police would like anyone with dash-camera footage or anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses can contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
