Winchester model 70, replacing polymer stock with wood?

Okay to start off I know nothing about winchester rifles or even bolt actions in general.

Was watching youtube and a video of carlos hathcock popped up and made me curious about maybe buying a model 70 but most of the 30-06 im seeing are either polymer or the stock is shaped differently and it got my wondering how hard is it to swap stocks and does anyone sell the same shape as what he carried in vietnam?

I dont care about getting a pre 64 model if I dont have to
