Halton police are investigating after two Metrolinx GO vehicles were vandalized at the Burlington GO Station.

At some point during the overnight hours between Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20 someone attended the GO station parking lot on Fairview Street, approached a Ford Taurus and a Ford Explorer, both owned by Metrolinx, and repeatedly kicked them," police said.

The passenger sides of both vehicles were damaged during the incident with the cost of repairing them estimated at more than $5,000.

The incident was reportedly captured on video and police allege a Metrolinx GO employee who watched it succeeded in identifying a suspect.

Police said their investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halton police at 905-825-4747 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.haltoncrimestoppers.ca.
