First U/O 12ga - hard to close

Picked up my first U/O 12ga and finally got my snap caps for a bit of famil.

Immediately noticed it it seems to take a bit of extra force especially in the final part of the close action to get it to catch the final bit to close fully. If I go a bit weak on this it, it will just crack open again.

Do I need to just polish up on the protein shakes and get a bit more upper-body strength or is it normal for the break action to take a bit of force until its worn in?
