Bard Turns Public, Says Google
Google is all set to make its generative AI chatbot, Bard, widely available. Today at Google I/O, the tech giant has declared that Bard's waitlist restrictions are removed, and it will be available in English initially.
The company, however, will keep on working on the advancement of Bard.
The Vice President and GM of Bard, Sissie Hsiao, said that Google would integrate additional improvements and new features to the chatbot.
However, meanwhile, they want to enhance Bard's accessibility and allow more people to use it so that the tool can get some feedback. Given this, they're whipping off the restrictions and making Bard available to more than 180 countries and territories. She also said that soon Bard will be accessible from many other regions.
The Experiment'The Google authority has preferred calling this new rollout an experiment' instead of a typical beta. In a press event, the senior product director of Google, John Krawczyk, has come up with a proposal to roll out the Japanese and Korean versions of the chatbot.

While Google is referring to pictures as of now, it's being said that soon they'll integrate charts, maps, and other elements.According to the company's claim, Bard will boast a different level of visual appeal which is expected to be reflected in the user's prompts and responses.
For instance, people may ask it to answer questions like, Name some must-visit places in Colorado." When producing the response to the question, you can expect to get rich visuals along with the text. This, in turn, will enable you to achieve a better sense of what you are trying to find.
Google announced Bard in February this year, while it was publicly launched in March. This conversational generative artificial intelligence model belongs to the LaMDA family of LLMs.
