Then, chaos occurred when there was three fumbles and two interceptions in consecutive possessions which led to the Showboats scoring another field goal. The Breakers fought back by scoring a four-yard touchdown from McLeod Bethel-Thompson and Anthony Jones. The Showboats responded by scoring another field goal to get back on top. After lots of back and forth, the Showboats ended up on top scoring a touchdown to seal their win. The New Orleans Breakers took their first loss to of the season.
