Jeremy Strong has won Emmy and Golden Globe awards for portraying a character with an abusive father on the HBO show Succession, but he did not draw any inspiration for the role from his relationship with his real dad, who once jumped in front of a car to save him from being run over, the actor has revealed.
During an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning this past weekend, Strong recounted how he was eight years old and growing up in Boston when he ended up in the path of a car barreling down the street at about 40mph.
