Baby cygnets at Bayfront

A female swan welcomed her first cygnet Monday afternoon.
The soft grey ball of downy fluff was the first of seven eggs to hatch in the nest near the gazebo at Bayfront Park.
By Tuesday afternoon, three cygnets had hatched. Passersby stopped to check in on the progress along the Waterfront Trail.
