Man in critical condition after drowning at Niagara Falls inn pool
A man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition after being recovered from the bottom of a pool at an inn on Centre Street in Niagara Falls Thursday morning.
Niagara Regional Police said officers responded to the site at 9:45 a.m. to assist Niagara Emergency Medical Services paramedics.
Police said officers arrived on scene to find an adult male in his 30s receiving medical care from paramedics.
The male was in critical condition, said NRP Const. Phil Gavin, adding he was transported to a local hospital.
The initial investigation determined the male had been recovered from the bottom of the pool on site," he said. Foul play is not an issue."
