Features Located near Dundurn Castle and a short walk away from Locke Street South, this two-storey home is one of a handful of properties in the neighbourhood that are listed for more than $800,000.

Situated on Dundurn Street North, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom house boasts more than 1,700 square feet of living space and offers a mix of old and new," said Donna Coughlan, a broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Toronto Realty Brokerage.

If you like a little character in your home, it has that," said Coughlan, pointing to the original hardwood flooring and smart home wiring. But with new amenities and features throughout."

The main floor of the home features an open-concept, renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a coffee nook, a small dining area and a living area with built-in shelving. Off the kitchen, there is a small washroom and a sunroom.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms - including the primary suite - and a revamped four-piece bathroom.

Outside, the fully-fenced backyard features a multi-level deck, built-in planter boxes as well as a hot tub, storage space and small grassy area at the rear of the property.

It's a beautiful entertainment space," said Coughlan. And even though it's a city house, you get this wonderful space to relax and unwind."

The basement of the home is unfinished and the attached garage is set up with 200 amp service, meaning it can accommodate a charger for an electric vehicle.

Coughlan said the home could appeal to a variety of buyers, including a family or young professionals. She pointed to its proximity to amenities, such as shops, cafes and trails, as well as Highway 403 and the West Harbour GO station for commuters.

Why is it priced this way? Coughlan said the price of the home was influenced by its location, the quality of renovations and landscaping, as well as the state of the housing market. The home last sold for $625,000 in November 2019, according to HouseSigma, a real estate data collection service.
