The show tentatively called Welcome to Derry" - the Maine town haunted by Pennywise the clown entity - is using the Main Street East landmark as Derry High School.

Cast and crew were back shooting at the school last week after first filming there in May. The 10-episode show is set in the 1960s and is a prequel to the box office hits IT" (2017) and IT: Chapter Two" (2019).

They shot one scene in the parking lot off Graham Avenue, on the westside of the school. The lot was packed with cars from the 1950s and 1960s, including a 1959 Pontiac and a 1961 Plymouth Fury. Graham Avenue was closed for filming and some old vehicles were parked on the street.

The show filmed in Port Hope before it returned to Hamilton.

Look for Detective William Murdoch to be back in Hamilton this year.

Murdoch Mysteries" - the popular detective show starring Yannick Bisson - has been renewed for its 17th season by the CBC.

The Shaftesbury production has filmed regularly in Hamilton since it premiered in 2008. One of the locales it films at a lot is the Scottish Rite. The show is set in Toronto in the early part of the 20th Century.
