The Los Angeles Rams announced Tuesday that they're reuniting with running back Sony Michel.

Michel was signed to a one-year deal, The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports.

The Rams first acquired Michel via trade prior to the 2021 campaign. He became the team's leading rusher after accumulating 845 yards across 17 games and then earned a Super Bowl ring to end the season.

Michel joined the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022 but featured sparingly. He rushed for just 106 yards on 36 carries for a career-low 2.9 yards per attempt.

The 28-year-old will provide solid depth to a Rams running back room that also features Cam Akers, Kyren Williams, and Zach Evans, among others.

A first-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2018, the Georgia product has tallied 3,243 rushing yards over his five-year career.
