pc windows 7 debian linux separate data drives
by peterb from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CEDG)
Hello, I have a Windows 7 setup on one SSD and installed a Debian linux setup on another SSD on the same system.
During the Debian Linux setup, I replaced the Windows SSD with the Linux SSD and disconnected my two separate data drives.
I am interested in knowing if anyone has done this and whether or not I might have any problems corrupting my data drives, especially if I swap the operating system drives back and forth without disconnecting the sata cables?
Eventually, and hopefully soon, I will trash Microtrash as I have been using Debian linux on another older PC to smooth out the transition.
Thanks in advance.
