Software for Embedding Artwork into MP3 Files?
by jdanniel_linux from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CR4V)
Hello. Iive never used Linux but am interested in trying it.
(Which is why I am posting this question in the Newbies section and not the Software section. I hope this is acceptable.)
I would use Linux mainly for audio and video work. (Iid set up a dual boot system alongside Windows 11.)
The first thing Iid like to know is this, please:
Iid like to know if there is a Linux equivalent to a Windows freeware utility called MP3 Tag. In addition to embedding ID tags into MP3 files, it also allows you to download cover art for albums, embed the artwork into audio files, and extract cover art from files.
If there is such a freeware utility, or utilities, which one would you recommend?
Or, is there a separate utility for embedding ID 3 tags, and one for working with artwork?
Thank you! J. Danniel
