How can I test a filesystem?

I decided to try ZFS on Linux. It's installed. I have a pool. I am using a loop device for that, to avoid any catastrophes.
Now what? Besides filling it up with files, moving them around, deleting them and reading 'zfs' commands output, how else can I test it to get a taste of what it's like? Any ideas?
