What to do after updating UEFI system
by mfoley from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6CXMD)
This is a follow-up to my post https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ed-4175725904/. After successfully installing a Slackware 15.0 UEFI booting system, I now want to update to the lastest version.
With the MBR/BIOS boot version and using lilo, after the upgrade-all I had to run lilo to get the new boot image info "registered".
Is there something similar I must to with UEFI? Run 'eliloconf'? Copy things from /boot to /boot/efi/Slackware?
I have not tried the upgrade-all yet as I am concerned that if there is such a step and I don't do it the machine won't boot.
