SDDM noise in alt+F1 terminal since last update?

Is anyone else seeing a lot of "noise" from SDDM on the alt+F1 terminal since the last update?
If I go from KDE to ctl+alt+F1 to get to a command prompt, I find the screen full of messages from DAEMON and HELPER filling the screen. These are information messages, not errors, but quite annoying if you want to use the F1 terminal.
I'm getting it on at least 3 machines, so I guess its a common issue.
Anyone any ideas how to suppress these messages?
