Five-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham is returning to where it all started.

Graham signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints, the team announced Tuesday. The 36-year-old tight end, who hasn't played since 2021, spent the first five seasons of his career with the Saints.

The tight end enjoyed the best years of his career in New Orleans. He earned three Pro Bowls and recorded two 1,000-plus-yard campaigns during his five-year stay. Graham rose to superstardom when he put up 1,310 receiving yards during his second campaign. He followed that up with a league-leading 16 receiving touchdowns in the 2013 season.

Graham played with the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears following his Saints stint. He didn't record a 1,000-plus-yard season outside of New Orleans, though he did earn two Pro Bowls with the Seahawks from 2016-17.

The veteran tight end last appeared in the NFL in 2021, catching 14 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns for the Bears.
