Ntp server on Redhat
by Maxina from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6D985)
Hi all.
I am working as a Cisco Unified Communications admin( cucm). Cucm Based operating system is a Linux Redhat 7. When connect to cli of cucm using root user, we connect to Linux. Using command vi /etc/ntp.conf, we access ntp file.
I see this phrase in this file:
server -4 pool.ntp.org
My question is : what is the number 4 in above phrase? Is this ntp version or another thing?
Beer regards.
