by Florida-Rob from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6D9TK)
CLAMAV installed
I run update before i run:
sudo systemctl stop clamav-freshclam.service
sudo freshclam
sudo systemctl start clamav-freshclam.service
then run with:
clamscan --infected -r --remove /
but
1) i see Error and Warnings (see log) i.e "LibClamAV Warning: fmap_readpage: pread fail: asked for 4094 bytes @ offset 2, got 0"
2) should this dir be skipped ? i see CLAMAV find virus in files in: /var/lib/clamav/
3) 2) should this dir be skipped ? i see CLAMAV find virus in files in: /usr/local/maldetect/sigs/
appreciate the help, thanks
