Linux Mint 21.2: 2 Samba Problems

I have 2 problems with my samba configuration in Linux Mint 21.2. This machine is new hardware (new to me), and it's also replacing Windows 10, as a virtual box base. This machine's main job is a server, and it's meant to replace windows 10. It runs virtual box, which will run one copy of windows xp pro. Don't worry. I'll replace this software as soon as possible too.

Anyway, the problem is the samba shares. This is my current file:

#; write list = root, @lpadminThere are two problems with it. Problem number 1) I'd changed it to only allow smb1.0, then changed it back. When changing it back, now it appears like I can't connect to what was working before.

Problem 2) With the home directory share, it won't let me connect to any share, at least with my SMILEY000\\des user.

This is part of redoing my servers. I'll create the new servers, and put them in in place.
