Evidence of experience for Linux System Admin jobs

I've been an avid user of linux for the past 3 years. I've played around with different linux distros, the linux terminal, and I have a pretty solid knowledge on my way around a linux system, even if I am just on a terminal or console.
But I don't have any hard evidences that show my skills. What are the skills necessary for a Linux Sys Admin? How can I get job as one. Can I just say I have 3 years of linux experience. What am I supposed to showcase?
I started on Ubuntu, then after about a year, I migrated to Arch Linux. And I've been using that for more than 2 years now. And I've tried out so many other distros like debian, fedora, (tried but not completed) gentoo, nix, and many more.
I have a github repository for my dotfiles, it has the config files for my window manager (i3wm), status bar (polybar) and scripts that make my OS work.
Would that me enough evidence to show I am capable of doing it?
