Cannot run icecat after converting it to a .tgz program using rpm2tgz
by flowercat from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6DH2X)
Hello, i'm on Salix OS (Slackware)
After converting the icecat.rpm file found on pkgs.org to a .tgz file with rpm2tgz, installing it with installpkg, when i try to run it it firt gives me this error:
/usr/bin/icecat: /usr/lib64/icecat/run-icecat.sh: /usr/bin/sh: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
And after fixing the interpreter to bash, it gives me this other error:
/usr/lib64/icecat/run-icecat.sh: line 109: /usr/lib64/icecat/icecat: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
How can i fix this? Any help is welcome.
