Strange problem with youtube in Firefox.

Hi,
There is some time now that I have this problem and I can't find a solution. I use other browsers as a workaround. I hoped that it would go away with Firefox 115 but it's still there.
If I go to youtube and click on a video, it will play fot a fraction of a second (I can hear the sound) and then pause. If I click play again, it will do the same, no matter how many times I hit play.
This only happens in youtube page. youtube videos embedded in other pages play fine. If I copy the embed html code for a video in a text file and open it, it works. This happens only when I try to play a video directly from youtube.
Also, all other streaming services (vimeo, netflix etc) work fine.
I tried with a clean profile with no addons at all, but the problem persists. I even tried with a new user account. It is also there in all my Slackware 15 pcs (three in total).
