FPGA development and Slackware- headaches and victories...

First the bad: AMD/Xilinx Vivado does NOT install on Slackware (and it installs on other distros missing some critical parts).
The good: Intel/Altera Quartus installs and (seems) to run fine on Slackware.
If you're going to do FPGA development, Altera is Slackware friendly.
To install Quartus, ignore the shell install script. Drop one level down into the 'components' sub-directories and directly run the QuartusLiteSetup-22.1std.2.922-linux.run file.
