Anyone Using Pipewire-Video for OBS-Studio?
by enorbet from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6DVBX)
Greetings
I'm experienced with DAW work but a total n00b at recording video. I recently installed OBS-Studio and can record a stream using "Window Capture (xcomposite)" but I imagine using pipewire, which is listed in the OBS menu, would be better perhaps in quality and also perhaps for consistency of using pipewire for both video and audio.
To start the ball rolling given I am so inexperienced with both pipewire and obs, I'm going to leave the opener like this and simply revisit this thread at least once a day to see if anyone requires specifics I'm not listing at first to avoid non-essentials that might cause confusion.
Thanks in advance for any comments or assistance.
