Ravens' Humphrey having foot surgery, will reportedly miss start of season

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey will undergo foot surgery Wednesday to repair a lingering issue, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed. Harbaugh added that Humphrey's recovery will not be a "long-term deal."

The 27-year-old is expected to miss the first two regular-season games, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Baltimore is already thin at cornerback, as Rock Ya-Sin and Jalyn Armour-Davis sat out practices due to injuries. However, Harbaugh recently said both should return soon.

Humphrey has been with the Ravens since being selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. The three-time Pro Bowler has 347 tackles and 12 interceptions in 90 career games.

The Ravens open their season against the Houston Texans before traveling to Cincinnati to play the Bengals in Week 2.
