Audigy 5 RX sound card, how to capture Mic1, Mic2 to separate channels?
by Chetverovod from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6DY11)
Hello!
Couple days ago have bought the audio card. Qite quickly I had installed it to PC:
Ubuntu Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
Motherboard Gigabyte ga-h61m-ds2
NVIDIA Corporation GA104 [GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Lite Hash Rate]
it works ok: plays and records.
This sound card has separate inputs for two microphones. An issue what was observed was during recording an output stereo file:
arecord -d 0 -c 2 -r 44100 -f S16_LE -t wav -D default stereo_wav_file.wav
every channel contains sum of Mic1 and Mic2 signals.
Manipulation with alsamixer did not fix this issue. Is there a way or settings to make recording of each microphone to separate channel of stereosignal?
Thanks.
