Why specifically "Linpus Lite" in the UEFI?

So everytime i flash linux onto a usb, it shows up as Linpus Lite, even android x86, Now linpus lite (or linpus linux) is a fairly old distro, it is now discontinued, but i always wonder, why is it always linpus lite? what's the big deal about the distro?
