Raw Therapee (appimage) won't open - wants libthai.so.0

Like the subject says, Raw Therapee won't open because it can't find libthai.so.0. I need Raw Therapee to open, but given that I don't speak Thai (except for a few cooking terms), it should not be looking for Thai anything.

Does anyone know how I can get Raw Therapee to open (in English, not Thai)?

I'm running Slackware 15 on a Lenovo IdeaPad L340 Gaming (and thus, gamedev).

Edit: I just found the flatpak version and am installing it from its site right now. That may render this question mute.
