Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was ruled out for the team's season opener against the Chicago Bears due to a hamstring injury. Watson hasn't participated in practice all week.

Wide receiver Romeo Doubs is also battling a hamstring ailment and is listed as questionable. The 23-year-old didn't practice Wednesday but has been a limited participant the last two days. Doubs suffered his injury before Green Bay's final preseason contest.

The injuries leave the Packers thin at the wide receiver position; the depth chart includes rookie Jayden Reed, Samori Toure, Malik Heath, and Dontayvion Wicks. None of Green Bay's wide receivers are over 25.

Watson was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played in 14 games as a rookie, racking up 41 catches for 611 yards and seven touchdowns.

Doubs, a fourth-round pick in last year's draft, hauled in 42 receptions for 425 yards and three touchdowns in 2022.
