Hello!

I change from Windows Microsoft 10 to Linux Mint, a few month before.

So far so good! But some adjustments are not so simple for me.

Inside the cinnamon Desktop I could not find a Procedure to increase the header windows close maximize Minimize buttons.

So I changed to Mate Desktop environment .

Now, i tried to change the scaling of the Display - i use a Notebook / Laptop Dell 13" (fractional scaling)

In the Display Setting I only Found the choice 100% or 200%.

As I don`t what to change the Resolution (HD) I looked for other possibilities.

The Mate Tweaks only brings an other GUI Window - but the same 100% or 200% Scaling.

In between I found the Gnome-Tweaks - it works like in Cinnamon Desktop, but at first I only Found to start directly after installation. (In my language German "Anwenungsverwaltung")

But is is not integrated in the Window appearing with the Start Button down left side.

A search (Gnome-Tweaks) brings a start-able folder / icon / file. ??

I copy this to the Mate Desktop - but it needs some clicks to start the Gnome- Tweaks.

As in Cinnamon I set the scaling to 1,4 (My choice) below the fonts settings.

It works - but I looking for a better way - best would be integrated into the start Button menu - System settings or to find with a search inside this.

My English is not so good and I m not native speaker. But I hope You understand an can give some help in this Linux Forum Community. My computerbaseics are not so good

Thanks

PS.: The adjustments of the symbol pixel in usr share themes ....gtk-3.0
under cinnamon didn't work - that's why I changed to Mate Desktop environment, witch offers bigger close minimize maximize icons on the top of a Desktop Window in Linux Mint / Monitor Display)LinuxMintUsers.de
