usb 3-2: not running at top speed
by SlackIT from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6ER0R)
I'm running Slack 15 with kernel 5.15.131.
My motherboard is a Rog Strix B550-F Gaming, along with a Razer Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless keyboard and a Razer Basilisk Essential mouse, both the keyboard and mouse are plugged into USB 3.2 ports.
When I look at the logs is shows the keyboard is using 3-2;
usb 3-2: Product: Razer Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless
What I don't get is the log shows up here as full speed;
usb 3-2: new full-speed USB device number 3 using xhci_hcd
Then it says it's not running at high speed;
usb 3-2: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed hub.
Why is the kernel saying it's not running at high speed and connect to a high speed hub when it's already plugged into a 3.2 port, the fastest port?
THANKS
