NewsDesk@bactiman63 Philippines health officials report 1,409 chikungunya cases through August 12 this year, a 213 percent increase compared to the same time in 2022 when 450 cases were reported. The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), in the northern Philippines, has seen the most cases with 372 year to date, a 18,500 percent increase from last year. [...]
