mplayer doesn't work after mpg123 upgrade

After upgrading to mpg123-1.32.1-x86_64-1 this morning when I run mplayer I get:Quote:
And keystrokes stop getting displayed to boot. mpg123 works alone. ldd on mplayer shows no missing libraries.
