The US president became the first sitting president to address striking workers by joining a protest outside a Michigan car plant in solidarity with members of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union.
During a speech on Tuesday, Biden told the workers they deserve 'a hell of a lot more than they get paid now', thanking them for 'saving' the auto industry
