Installing android command line tools in Slackware
by rzdndr from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6F3GV)
Hello All
I am going to install android command line tools. Wanted to ask where to unpack the tools.
Is the /opt directory a place where these should go?
/opt is described as a directory for add-on application packages in the file system hierarchy standard. Would /opt be a good place to put these tools there?
By the way what does add-on mean? Isn't everything an add-on, anything that is added to the base system?
Would the /opt directory be a place for anything that you build yourself?
Regards
