Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Peter Skoronski suffered a ruptured appendix on Sept. 16, he said Wednesday, according to Turron Davenport of ESPN.

Skoronski had an emergency appendectomy but said he's "doing fine." The 22-year-old has missed the last two games and isn't expected to suit up Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, Davenport adds.

"It's frustrating," Skoronski said. "You want to be on the field as soon as possible, but you also don't want to be out there in a position where you can't do the right thing for your team."

Skoronski said he's lost weight while recovering from the surgery. He's now gradually doing weight training and conditioning work, Titans coach Mike Vrabel said.

Dillon Radunz and Xavier Newman have filled in at left guard for Skoronski. The Titans selected Skoronski 11th overall out of Northwestern in the 2023 draft.
