New Slacker here
by superkret2 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6F5Q0)
Hi, I've had a free weekend and decided to give Slackware a first try on a spare machine.
Well, now it's suddenly running on all 4 of them.
It's a blast from the past, but after some fiddling I got everything to work, even on my old netbook, and that's a first for a linux distro.
This forum already helped me in a way, cause while I was collecting all necessary info to ask for help with the non-functioning touchpad on my Fujitsu U9310x, I stumbled upon the solution and got it to work (modprobe i2c_hid_acpi).
Now that everything works, it's definitely a relaxing system :)
