[SOLVED] basic slackware query
by pingu_penguin from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6F6NR)
Hi,
I got myself a gaming rig last week.
So I decided to give slackware a spin.
I installed slackware64 15.0 on a nvme partition and I got no screens found error.
So I upgraded it to current and then tried to make it multilib , because I use steam and some 32-bit programs.
In the process I managed to break glibc somehow which made my slackware installation unable to boot. However I managed to recover it using the slackware iso setup menu option - reconfigure your system.
My query is , Do you go multilib first on 15.0 and then update to current ?
Or is it possible to go current first and then go multilib ?
