New England Patriots pass-rusher Matthew Judon and cornerback Christian Gonzalez are both out indefinitely, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Judon, who suffered a lower bicep tendon tear in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, is expected to miss at least two months, reports NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. He'll undergo surgery Wednesday.

Judon has 13 tackles, four sacks, and five tackles for loss this season. He also has nine quarterback hits and a safety. The 31-year-old has played in every game since Week 13 of 2020 and owns 66.5 sacks, 87 tackles for loss, and nine forced fumbles in 114 career games. He has made four consecutive Pro Bowls.

Gonzalez - the team's top pick in April's draft - injured his shoulder against Dallas.

Gonzalez has performed well as a starting corner. He's tallied an interception, three deflections, a sack, and 17 total tackles in his four starts. The 6-foot-2 cover man also owns an 80.8 overall grade from PFF with a 79.3 grade in coverage.

The Patriots host the New Orleans Saints in Week 5. New England's bye week isn't until Week 11.
